A Torii gate is often found in or at the entrance of a Shinto shrine; it represents passage from the mundane to the sacred. This 78-card Tarot deck was hand drawn with pen and ink in the winter of 2023-2024. A limited series has been printed in collaboration with Tilman Reitzle (graphic design layout) and Penmor Lithographers (printing) and is available here and at select markets soon. Each deck includes a custom handmade package and shroud (altar cloth) made from upcycled materials. A series of hand-cut lino prints of the Major Arcana is underway and will also be available soon.
